STUDENT AFFECTED BY HOMELESSNESS
We appreciate your contribution to creating digital opportunities for students experiencing housing insecurity.
This Is Nayel. Nayel lived in one of the shelters we serve in Denver, Colorado, and his family hoped to give him a Bridging Tech laptop for the holidays.
He needed a laptop to complete homework and access learning materials. Thanks to your help, we were able to provide him with his own, permanent laptop for learning. His parents believe that Bridging Tech's generous donation will "set Nayel up with a great foundation for his education." They want him to have exposure to technology, since it is so prevalent in our modern society. |
Help Us Change The Narrative.
Our Wi-Fi and hotspot pilot program was led by Tony Chun (pictured below), who initially came to Bridging Tech as an Intel Encore Fellow and has continued to give his time in the creation of our digital literacy programming. We launched this pilot program because we wanted to provide students with free or reduced Internet access with which to use their personal laptops for learning from Bridging Tech.

Our long-term goals include connecting community members to policymakers who can push for increased technology access and training, and helping all families facing housing insecurity through skill-building and job placement programs. If you would like to help, then we would love to hear from you.
