How Do We Refurbish the Tech/Computers Donated?
Our partner in refurbishing, ReGadget receives computers systems and electronic devices from members of the community and from corporate donors. Often, many of the donated devices contain electronic data that is stored on the computer systems hard drive and electronic media. Each device is completely wiped - or 'scrubbed' and cleared of past information, apps, data.
What happens to my device?
Protecting sensitive data is a non-negotiable aspect of Information Tech Asset Disposition (ITAD). We promise to safeguard your computer and all data.

Their commitment to these principles drives every aspect of our business, from the devices they refurbish to the impact their work made on the environment and our customers’ lives.
Unhampered access to donations and pledges of technology from individuals and partners is essential and allows us to meet our goals. In fact, the more we get functioning, lightly used refurbished computers, the more K-12 students will benefit. We have a many years of success in this work, and are seeking new partnerships with corporations to meet the need for access to education/tech and to increase our positive impact on young people in the United States.
